Race Week to Host 2026 ORC Sportboat North American Championship

Charleston / Mt. Pleasant, SC (2025 September 30) - Charleston Race Week at Patriots Point is proud to announce that the 2026 edition of the regatta will host the ORC Sportboat North American Championship. The approval was confirmed this week by the ORC Management Committee, making Charleston Race Week at Patriots Point the official venue for this major international event.

The North American Championship is one of the premier international regattas on the ORC calendar, and is expected to attract a competitive fleet from across the U.S., Canada, and beyond, adding an exciting new chapter to Race Week’s tradition of world-class racing.

The Notice of Race (NOR) is posted and Registration is now open for entries at www.charlestonraceweek.com. Charleston Race Week 2026 at Patriots Point promises to be an unforgettable event, and we look forward to welcoming ORC Sportboat sailors from across North America to Charleston Harbor in April 2026.
