Ramp launching is highly recommended for smaller boats. Ramp launching at Remley’s Point is located very close to the Charleston Harbor Resort Marina. It’s a low hassle, convenient location with four lanes for launching, and it’s open to the public for free 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

There’s plenty of space to prep at this location, and it’s a great way to avoid the long lines at ChYC.

From Highway 17/ Johnnie Dodds Blvd.
(near the Arthur Ravenel/ Cooper River Bridge on the Mt. Pleasant Side),

Turn Left onto Mathis Ferry Road
Take a Left onto 5th Avenue
Take a Right onto 3rd Street
Take a Left onto 3rd Avenue
Take a Left onto 2nd Street
Take a Right onto 5th Avenue
End at Remley’s Point Public Boat Ramp
