The total sum of $150 plus an additional $20/day for optional trailer storage is due prior to arrival for use of the hoist, facilities, and trailer storage. The following terms, covenants, and conditions must be followed, performed, and observed by Lessee:

1. Lessor shall be held harmless by Lessee for damage or theft of any parts of any equipment belonging to the Lessee; and further, Lessor shall be held harmless by Lessee for bodily injury or property inflicted upon Lessee or invitees of guests as a result of Lessee maintaining a boatyard space.

2. Lessee shall be responsible for any damage to Charleston Yacht Club property created by the Lessee, their invitees or guests, and item(s) or vessel while on the premises.

3. Lessee agrees that they will keep the boat fully insured with complete marine insurance, including hull coverage and indemnity and/or liability insurance. Proof of insurance should be submitted to [email protected] prior to arrival.

4. Lessee shall not be permitted to use the allocated space for any purpose other than rigging, de-rigging, and storage of watercraft and trailer. Lessee is only authorized one watercraft per space.

5. Lessee shall keep their space free of trash and debris at all times. Upon notification by the Rear Commodore, Lessee shall have one (1) day to remedy the situation.

6. Lessee shall maintain their trailer in working condition such that it may be readily moved if the need arises. Lessee shall have watercraft and trailer immediately removed from the premises in the event of severe weather, which is to be determined by the Charleston Yacht Club Executive Committee.

7. Hoist is to be operated only by a Yacht Club member.

Any violations of the boatyard space lease terms, covenants, and conditions, as outlined previously; may result in the loss of the boatyard space with all rents forfeited. Such determination will be made by the Charleston Yacht Club Executive Committee.
